As a dynamic executive, trailblazer in sign industry technology, serial entrepreneur, and podcaster, Aaron has spent decades driving innovation, empowering others, and transforming the signage industry.
His leadership philosophy centers on fostering collaboration and progress, benefiting not only his businesses but the broader industry.
Born in San Diego, California, Aaron displayed entrepreneurial instincts early in life. At eight years old, he opened a tomato stand, and by ten, he had established a landscaping route caring for neighbors’ lawns. At just fifteen, he launched his first business, Neon Needs, creating custom neon products for low-rider enthusiasts.
By sixteen, Aaron was balancing full-time work at a local grocery store with his education. He pursued higher learning with the same drive, earning an Associate’s Degree before completing his Bachelor’s in Business with an emphasis on Accounting at Cal State San Marcos.
After college, Aaron accepted a position at one of the Big 7 audit firms but quickly realized the traditional corporate environment stifled his entrepreneurial ambitions. After just three months, he pivoted to pursue opportunities that better aligned with his innovative spirit.
Returning to the family business, Integrated Signs, Aaron initially focused on sales but soon took on managerial responsibilities. His knack for leadership and strategic vision propelled him to the role of President by 2017. In 2022, Aaron took full ownership of the company, solidifying his influence in the signage industry.
Recognizing the technological gap in the signage industry, Aaron sought to modernize operations and improve efficiency for sign companies. In 2009, inspired by the smartphone revolution, he began designing a software platform tailored to the unique needs of the industry.
In 2011, Aaron launched SquareCoil, an ERP system that redefined how sign companies operate. With features such as timecard tracking, inventory management, and costing tools,
SquareCoil has become an essential resource for thousands of sign shops. Serving over 5,000 users across five countries, the platform continues to set industry benchmarks for innovation and operational excellence.
